Top WWE Star Given Additional Scene In Upcoming Movie WWE

A WWE star has revealed that they were given an added scene in an upcoming movie because he and the director were having such a good time.

A number of wrestlers play characters in the upcoming Street Fighter movie, including NJPW’s Hirooki Goto as E. Honda, and WWE’s Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes as Akuma and Guile respectively.

Cody Rhodes discussed his upcoming role as Guile in the Street Fighter movie on Complex Graps, saying:

“I hope people really enjoy Guile. I don’t want to give too much away, Capcom Cup is happening right now, for example.

“I don’t want anyone who loves this game to take something I said and think… I want them just to watch what Kitao Sakurai has put together with this movie.

Orton earned his title shot by winning February’s Elimination Chamber match, interestingly last eliminating Cody Rhodes, following then-champion Drew McIntyre’s interference.

Because of McIntyre’s involvement, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis ordered for the Scottish Warrior to defend the WWE Championship against the American Nightmare on the March 6 Raw episode, with Cody Rhodes ultimately coming out on top.

Rhodes and Orton met for a contract signing segment on the March 13 SmackDown show, which saw Orton turn heel and brutalize Rhodes.

This extreme angle appears to indicate the return of “2009 Randy Orton”, the brutal version of Orton which was the top heel of the company at the time.

Street Fighter will hit theaters on October 16.
