SummerSlam 2021 is expected to be a very big show for WWE. Now, it appears the company wants to make the show especially monumental.
A new report from Fightful Select (subscription required) states that WWE is hoping they can get rapper Cardi B to host the show. Fightful also notes that they have not been told if it is a done deal.
Cardi B had some interactions with the WWE side of Twitter earlier this year. At the Legends Night episode of Raw, Cardi B’s name was dropped and she took to Twitter to say how she used to watch the product during the 2000s.
She also had a less-than-positive interaction with Lacey Evans with Evans antagonizing the rapper.
A location for SummerSlam has also yet to be confirmed. However, it has been reported that they are looking to have the event in a football stadium.
