WWE Makes Huge Push To Promote Cody Rhodes WWE

WWE appears to have made a huge push to promote Cody Rhodes as the face of the company following Hell in a Cell 2022.

It has been pointed out that both the @WWE and @WWENetwork Twitter accounts have featured images of Cody Rhodes inside Hell in a Cell as header photos since the June 5 pay-per-view.

Rhodes holding the header position is pretty noteworthy as WWE typically reserves this spot for a Premium Live Event graphic, or an image of a current champion.

WWE has opted to keep Rhodes at the forefront of their social media accounts over Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, and promoting the upcoming Money in the Bank pay-per-view.

This has added to the idea that WWE wants to position Cody Rhodes as the face of the company.

The @BTSportWWE and @WWEonFOX accounts still have the Bloodline in their headers, however it is worth noting that these accounts are not run by WWE directly.

At Hell in a Cell, Rhodes wrestled Seth Rollins for 24 minutes with a torn pectoral muscle. The match was awarded five stars by Dave Meltzer, the first WWE main roster five star match since CM Punk vs John Cena at Money in the Bank 2011.

Rhodes recently underwent successful surgery, and is expected to be out of action for around nine months.
