A WWE ID signing has won their first match on WWE NXT television after recently making an appearance on the show.
WWE announced it’s WWE ID program last year, which will see a number of independent wrestlers sign WWE ID contracts, with the company providing help to them as they aspire to make it to WWE.
One of the names signed to a WWE ID contract is Sean Legacy, who has been making appearances on WWE Evolve in recent weeks, as well as a cameo in the Number One Contender’s Battle Royal two weeks ago.
Legacy had an impressive sequence with Je’von Evans during the match, with a match between both men and Ashante ‘Thee’ Adonis being made for tonight’s episode of NXT.
The match kicked off tonight’s episode of NXT, with North American Champion Ricky Saints at ringside for the match, which prompted an appearance from Ethan Page.
Page and Saints’ brawl at ringside was broken up by Je’von Evans, which allowed Sean Legacy to pick up the victory over Ashante, scoring his first win on NXT.
