Last week’s episode of NXT was dubbed as ‘Tag Team Title Tuesday’, with both sets of NXT Tag Team Championships being defended on the show.
The first defence came with controversy, when Katana Chance and Kayden Carter retained their championship against Nikkita Lyons and Zoey Stark after the match was restarted due to Stark pinning the illegal competitor in the match.
The second title match saw Pretty Deadly retain the NXT Tag Team Championship against Edris Enofe and Malik Blade. After the match, Edris and Malik were in the NXT parking lot and were not jumped, but instead were greeted by Odyssey Jones, who had been out of action for months with an injury, and they left together in a car full of ladies.
WWE has now announced that Odyssey Jones will make his in-ring return on tomorrow night’s (November 1) episode of NXT.
Also set for the show are the returns of Bron Breakker and Mandy Rose, with the latter set to celebrate her one year anniversary as NXT Women’s Champion, as well as an interview with the Schism and their new member, Ava Raine.
