Former WWE Star In-Ring Return After Years Away Update

An update on a former WWE star who could be training to make a return to the ring after almost a decade away from competition.

Rycklon Stevens, formerly known as Ezekiel Jackson during his time in WWE and the last ever ECW Champion, has posted a video of himself in a wrestling ring to social media.

Stevens noted that this was his first time in the ring taking a bump for years, leading to speculation about whether he could be making a return to the industry.

When asked by a fan if he was making a comeback, Stevens responded that he was simply “currently just having fun”.

Yet another fan suggested that they would love to see him at Royal Rumble 2025, Jackson responded again:

“Just having fun”

While he was in fact the last ECW Champion, he was also the shortest reigning champion after having beaten Christian for the title on the last episode of ECW in 2010, with the title retired after the show ended.

As well as being the last ECW Champion, he also held the WWE Intercontinental Championship for just over 50 days in 2011.

He made some appearances for other promotions after his WWE departure in 2014, but has been inactive from in-ring action for several years.

However, posting about the experience of locking up with his son in the ring, it seemed that the former Ezekiel Jackson had a great time.

He wrote:
