Report: WWE Books Injury Angle As ‘Cover Reason’ For Surgery WWE

It has emerged that WWE booked a recent injury angle during the November 4 edition of SmackDown to ‘cover’ for Natalya being out for surgery.

During Friday Night Smackdown on November 4, Natalya featured in a match-up with Shayna Baszler.

After Baszler secured the win, Ronda Rousey instructed Baszler to inflict further damage.

This led to Natalya being on the receiving end of Baszler’s knee, resulting in a bloody nose and the Queen of Hearts confirming an injury.

The match was pre-taped on October 28 ahead of Crown Jewel, which took place on November 5.

Natalya Neidhart has since shared an update with a photo from her hospital bed.

According to POST Wrestling, multiple sources have shared that the smash to the face was indeed an angle.

This angle was written in to cover Natalya’s planned nasal surgery, hence the legit pictures from her hospital bed.

In the tweet, Natayla said:

We moved my dislocated nose back to the center of my face where it belongs!! I love the shape of my nose and it will stay the same, thank goodness! Can finally breathe again 🙏Pain is beauty! LFG! 😂

It is unknown how long Natalya will be out of action due to the surgery.
