WWE Star Out Of Action ‘Indefinitely’ Due To Injury WWE

A WWE star has been announced as being out of action indefinitely due to injury – find out who it is here!

During the tag team four way match to determine who would get the next opportunity at the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championships, an announcement about an injury.

Michael Cole on commentary noted that the Viking Raiders were not in the match because Erik of the Viking Raiders suffered an injury to his foot and would be out of action for “an indefinite period of time.”

The Viking Raiders had been feuding with the New Day leading up to their special themed, “Viking Rules” match on the pre-taped edition of WWE SmackDown that aired in advance of Clash at the Castle.

The tag team match went on pitting the New Day against Imperium (Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci), the Brawling Brutes (Ridge Holland and Butch) and Hit Row (Ashante thee Adonis and Top Dolla) to determine who would face the Usos for the championships.

After an exciting effort, in the end it was the Brawling Brutes who were able to sneak out a win in order to move on to get their shot at the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships on next week’s September 23 edition of WWE SmackDown.

Elsewhere on the show, a titular match was set up for Extreme Rules,  a star continued to tease a potential return to their former character, Bayley returned to single’s action on SmackDown and Logan Paul kicked off the show with a challenge for Roman Reigns.
