WWE Star Says They Have Regained Their Strength Following Injury WWE

A WWE star has shared a promising injury update, noting that they’re even stronger than before following four months away from the ring.

Kairi Sane hasn’t wrestled since the December 2, 2024 Raw episode, teaming with IYO SKY in a losing effort against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez.

The former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion has taken to Twitter to share an update on her condition, after tearing a ligament in her hand three months ago.

Expressing gratitude to her surgeon Dr Hirsch, Kairi noted that she feels even stronger than she was before the injury.

Kairi wrote:

Three months ago, I tore a ligament in my thumb and couldn’t even open a bottle cap.

Now, I’ve fully regained my grip strength—and I’m even stronger than before.

I’m truly grateful from the bottom of my heart to Dr. Hirsch, who performed my surgery. He was such a kind and wonderful doctor.

I wish I had taken a photo with him to remember that moment.🥺

This has fuelled speculation that Sane will make her WWE return in the coming weeks.

Kairi Sane’s tag-team partner IYO SKY will defend her Women’s World Championship against Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley at WWE WrestleMania 41.
