An update has emerged on WWE star Bronson Reed’s injury status, following Reed’s legitimate injury at Survivor Series WarGames.
Reed was in action in the WarGames main event, teaming with Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa and Jacob Fatu in a losing effort against Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Sami Zayn and The Usos.
Towards the end of the match Reed suffered a legitimate injury, hurting his ankle after attempting to hit Roman Reigns with a Tsunami splash through a table.
It was previously reported that, Reed suffered an injury to “possibly both” of his ankles on the fall and underwent medical attention following the show.
A new update has emerged on the situation, with Mike Johnson of PWInsider now reporting that Reed will undergo surgery next week, according to the word reportedly making the rounds among WWE talents.
The report also pointed out that Reed was originally set to wrestle Seth Rollins in steel cage matches as part of upcoming holiday live events.
A recent return reportedly took place due to Bronson Reed being out of action, which you can read more about right here.
