In light of the return of Emma – known in IMPACT by her real name Tenille Dashwood – WWE is looking to bring back even more female talent.
Emma returned on yesterday evening’s (October 28) edition of SmackDown, facing Ronda Rousey for the latter’s WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship.
Rousey submitted Emma to retain her title.
According to Fightful Select, WWE is now interested in bringing back “several” more women who used to work for the company, with one name in particular being passed around.
Tegan Nox, who appeared briefly in the main WWE roster before being released from the company on November 18 2021, has been suggested as a potential returning star. Nox has not wrestled since her WWE release.
Fightful Select had the following to say about the scoop:
“When Fightful reached out earlier this year, she told us she was experiencing visa issues that were slowing things down.
“We haven’t heard any specifics, but we did confirm with WWE sources that the company was interested in her.”
Nox was supposed to make her first appearance for WWE in the 2017 Mae Young Classic, but tore her ACL before she could compete. She instead appeared in the 2018 competition, and became injured again during the tournament when racing Rhea Ripley.
She later appeared on both NXT and NXT UK, as well as a brief stint on the main WWE roster, before her 2021 release.
