An update has emerged on potential WWE and TNA Wrestling crossover matches, with two stars who WWE names are interested in wrestling revealed.
With Jordynne Grace set to challenge for Roxanne Perez’ NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Battleground, there has been a lot of speculation about more interpromotional matches involving WWE and TNA Wrestling stars.
Per Corey Brennan of Fightful Select, there is “significant interest” in working with TNA Wrestling stars among NXT talent spoken to.
The report noted that Josh Alexander and Leon Spater were two names who were spoken of highly as potential opponents, by NXT names.
Leon Slater is a 19-year old high-flyer from England. After making a name for himself on the independent scene, Slater signed with TNA Wrestling in October 2023.
Josh Alexander, who wrestled for TNA Wrestling since 2018, is a two-time TNA (IMPACT) World Champion, who notably used to team with Ethan Page.
Page will make his WWE in-ring debut at Sunday’s (June 9) NXT Battleground premium live event, challenging for Trick Williams’ NXT Championship.
