WWE has reportedly approached another international star, who is now working on sorting out his visa so he can wrestle in the United States.
Per a new report from Cultaholic, multiple sources told them that a WWE representative has approached Emirati wrestler Shaheen in the last few weeks.
The international star is reportedly in the process of sorting out his visa so he can work in the US, and has been invited to a future WWE tryout.
Shaheen is often credited as the first Emirati wrestler to represent the United Arab Emirates overseas.
A regular performer for WrestleFest DXB in Dubai, Shaheen was also previously a member of the NJPW LA Dojo. He notably wrestled head coach and former WWE star Fred Rosser (fka Darren Young) during the October 2023 Academy Showcase.
This report comes after Cultaholic and Fightful Select both separately reported that French masked wrestler Aigle Blanc, and Belgian free-agent Mike D Vecchio are on the verge of signing with WWE.
Mike D Vecchio has now vacated a championship, with the real reason for D Vecchio relinquishing his title now revealed.
Details have also emerged on why WWE is putting a lot of attention into international recruitment, click here to read more.
