A new WWE international stadium show set to take place in August is reportedly set to be announced ‘imminently’.
Last year, WWE hosted it’s first ever premium live event in France, when Backlash took place in Lyon.
The show was among WWE’s best all year, with the French crowd being praised as the one of the greatest crowds for a WWE event in history.
Following the show, Triple H noted that the company was already discussing a return to France, and it seems the company may be upping the ante this time around.
Per WrestleVotes, a new WWE premium live event named ‘Clash in Paris’ is scheduled to take place on Sunday, August 31 at Paris La Défense Arena.
They tweeted:
Sources tell us that WWE is set to announce a PLE titled ‘Clash in Paris,’ scheduled for Sunday, August 31, at Paris La Défense Arena in Paris, France.
An announcement is said to be imminent and could come any day now.
We will provide any updates on the show as they become available.
