WWE Interviewer Cathy Kelley Training To Wrestle, Potentially Becoming A Manager

WWE backstage interviewer Cathy Kelley has reportedly been training to wrestle at the Performance Center in Orlando.

Kelley is currently in her second stint with the company after returning in 2022 following a departure in 2020.

As reported by PWInsider Elite, Kelley has been doing in-ring training and promo classes “for some time”.

The report notes a potential direction for Kelley would see her in a “manager-esque” role.

There were no further details on who she’d be planned to be affiliated with if that is the direction that the company goes in.

Kelley has primarily been a backstage interviewer for the Raw brand as of late, but sometimes appears on SmackDown as well.

She’s also a host/presenter for various extra digital shows, such as the recent WWE Slammy Awards that took place this past weekend, which she hosted with Big E.

Kelley first started out with WWE as part of the NXT brand back in 2016, staying on that brand all the way until her exit in 2020. Before joining the company, she actually hosted WWE-related recap shows for AfterBuzz TV.
