A WWE champion has addressed the absence of a former authority figure as they chart new territory under their new general manager.
On October 11, Stevie Turner revealed that her time with WWE had “come to an end”, with a number of other stars confirming they had parted ways with the company.
With Turner acting as the WWE Evolve Prime Minister, she would continue to appear on-screen due to the show being pre-taped.
Her final appearance was aired last week, with Turner sharing a message along with footage of her last interaction with Evolve Champion Jackson Drake.
Turner was on the mind of Drake as he appeared on the November 12 episode of WWE NXT, encountering the brand’s GM, Ava.
With the two-part NXT Gold Rush taking place starting November 18, Drake found he would be facing Sean Legacy, thanks to Ava’s decision-making, causing the Evolve Champion to state on Twitter:
“Ava makes me miss Stevie.”
Drake has held the Evolve Championship since April 25, eliminating Sean Legacy in a Fatal Four-way match to crown the inaugural champion.
He last defended the championship at WFA ID Showcase on October 24, beating Cappuccino Jones to continue his reign that currently stands at over 157 days.
