A popular hip-hop producer has teased the possibility of creating WWE themes, naming one star for a ‘turnt up’ track.
Metro Boomin previously provided the theme tune for WWE Backlash in 2024, and has now teased the possibility of further involvement.
In a tweet on May 28, Metro Boomin revealed that it was a lifelong goal to create WWE entrance themes, tweeting:
“Would love to produce some WWE entrance themes. It’s a lifelong goal of mine 👀”
This was followed up by a tweet with a specific star in mind, in the form of Jacob Fatu, with Metro Boomin posting:
“Imagine if I did a turnt up theme for Jacob Fatu..
“He’s one of my favorite right now by far!!”
Jacob Fatu has been using Samoan Destroyer as his entrance theme, with fans able to hear the track on the WWE Music YouTube channel right here.
With the majority of entrance themes created by def rebel, it was previously reported that some WWE talent were ‘unhappy‘ with their music.
Metro Boomin and Future’s track “GTA” was used as the official theme for WWE Bad Blood on October 5, 2024.
In addition to producing songs for top artists including Drake, Future, The Weeknd and 21 Savage, Metro Boomin has had three of his personal albums hit #1 on the Billboard 200 chart, Not All Heroes Wear Capes in 2018, Savage Mode II in 2020 and Heroes & Villains in 2022.
