WWE Champion Addresses Evolution Title Defence Announcement

A WWE star has broken their silence after a championship match announcement for an upcoming Premium Live Event.

The June 24 episode of NXT saw the first match announced for WWE Evolution, the much-anticipated all-women Premium Live Event, which takes place on July 13.

Defending the NXT Women’s Championship, Jacy Jayne will take on Jordynne Grace at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

The Fatal Influence member has now addressed the upcoming match, making a promise the WWE fans, in a tweet that reads:

“Can’t wait to put down another one of your “favorites” & watch you all cry about it 😘”

Jayne defeated Stephanie Vaquer on May 27 to start her first reign as NXT Women’s Champion as is a former two-time NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion (with Gigi Dolin).

Grace become the number one contender for the title after pinning Jaida Parker in the finals of the NXT Women’s Championship Evolution Eliminator with that Fatal Four Way also featuring Izzi Dame and Lash Legend.

It was recently reported that Grace and Stephanie Vaquer are expected to be called up to the WWE main roster, which has seen Roxanne Perez and Giulia move up from NXT over the past months.
