A SmackDown star has responded to WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill’s challenge, not interested in facing the new champion.
The November 1 Saturday Night’s Main Event special saw Cargill defeat Tiffany Stratton to become WWE Women’s Champion, marking her first singles title since signing with the company in September 2023.
Ahead of her Stratton’s title defense, Chelsea Green sent her support to the then-champion on Twitter in a post that reads:
“My watch will always be set to Tiffy Time”
Cargill would respond to the tweet after her victory, offering a championship opportunity to Green in her own post, asking:
“Awww. Sorry I squashed your friend. You want some next? 🥲😈💅🏾”
Green would answer the challenge from the new WWE Women’s Champion, turning down a potential match, responding:
“From the bottom of my heart, no.”
Cargill wasn’t the only member of the WWE women’s roster to pick up a championship over the weekend, with Green also becoming AAA Mixed Tag Team Champion in Mexico, alongside NXT’s Ethan Page.
Chelsea Green recently spoke about the challenge of bringing Page up to the main roster.
From the bottom of my heart, no. https://t.co/LklBSSCGwg
