Former WWE Star Pitches For Match Against Roman Reigns Before He Retires WWE

Jeff Hardy has pitched the idea of a dream match in WWE because his career comes to an end and he believes it could happen.

Recently, Hardy pitched the idea of a feud with CM Punk in WWE, and now he’s stated that a Roman Reigns match could happen.

Speaking to the San Antonio Express-News, Hardy revealed that it’s a thought he’s had for a while, saying:

“One of my dream matches was always Roman Reigns I used to say.

“I still have that in my head before it’s all over in my career. Roman Reigns is a big one.”

Hardy and Reigns have shared the ring previously, albeit at a WWE Live Supershow in December 2021 where he teamed with Drew McIntyre and King Woods to defeat The Bloodline (Reigns & The Usos).

That match would end up being Hardy’s last WWE match with the star being released shortly thereafter, a subject that he touched upon in March 2022.

Currently signed with TNA Wrestling, Hardy has recently reflected on how his career could have panned out had he lived his current lifestyle back in the 90s.

With TNA Wrestling and WWE recently announcing a multi-year partnership, Matt Hardy shared a tease of a potential return in the wake of the news.

Hardy has also recently discussed the possibility of a WWE Hall of Fame induction as being the “perfect ending” to his career.
