WWE stars Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston of The New Day have commented on Jey Uso’s first Intercontinental Title defense on Raw.
On the October 7 edition of Monday Night Raw, Jey Uso will defend the Intercontinental Championship for the first against The New Day’s Xavier Woods.
Ahead of the title bout, Xavier Woods took to social media to post a photo of himself and content creator Chris Denker (Danger) sharing a home cooked meal. He wrote:
Tomorrow I have a chance to win the Intercontinental Title. So im thankful to get a home cooked meal tonight.
Meanwhile, Woods’ New Day tag team partner former WWE Champion Kofi Kingston took to social media to comment on his friend’s big match. He wrote:

With there being some dissension between the New Day members in recent weeks, the result of the title match will have lasting implications for Woods’ future.
Also announced for tonight’s show, GUNTHER will face Sami Zayn for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Meanwhile, Sheamus will face Pete Dunne in a Donnybrook Match. Plus, tonight’s episode will be the first Monday Night Raw that will be two hours long in 12 years.
