A new match has been made official for WWE SmackDown on September 8, 2023, between Jimmy Uso and AJ Styles.
The match is the result of Uso getting involved in Styles’ match against Solo Sikoa on the September 1 episode of SmackDown.
Solo would use the opportunity to pin Styles for the victory but Jimmy Uso’s involvement didn’t get the reaction Jimmy probably expected!
Post-match, Sikoa would go for a Samoan Spike on Jimmy but be convinced to not hit the move by Paul Heyman.
With Sikoa and Heyman leaving the ring, Uso hit a superkick and Uso Splash on Styles.
Earlier in the show, Styles had encountered Uso backstage and warned him that he wasn’t welcome after he disrespected Michin.
Uso wouldn’t back down, pointing out that he doesn’t even know who Michin is.
With the pair shoving each other, Styles would be attacked by Sikoa who went on to tell Uso that he’s only out of the Bloodline when the Bloodline says he is.
For Uso’s part, he would tell Sikoa that he doesn’t listen to anybody, whether that be Roman Reigns, Heyman, but most certainly not Solo.
WWE has officially confirmed that Jimmy Uso will take on AJ Styles this Friday in a singles match.
