A released WWE star has teased a possible AEW debut ahead of an upcoming international episode of Dynamite.
AEW heads to Glasgow, Scotland, in August with episodes of Dynamite and Collision taking place at the OVO Hydro arena.
It’s something that former WWE star Joe Coffey has noticed, hinting at the possibility that he may be there.
On a recent episode of Reffin’ It Up, Coffey addressed the AEW show plans, taking particular interest thanks to their location, saying:
“AEW have a show in my hometown in Glasgow on August 20th, which is very interesting, and The Hydro, the same arena that ICW ran so, that’s very interesting…”
Joe Coffey was among a number of WWE stars to be released on May 2, alongside his Gallus teammates Mark Coffey and Wolfgang.
With Gallus being a regular fixture on NXT, Coffey would reveal that there had been talk of a main roster move that would have seen them work with Drew McIntyre.
Coffey has recently stated that he is currently “landlocked” in the United States due to his work visa being attached to his now former contract.
The Scottish star made his debut in WWE during the NXT at Download event in 2018, teaming with his brother, Mark Coffey, and Wolfgang on the January 9 episode of NXT UK the following year.
