Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena has addressed potentially being cast in his first ever horror movie.
While 2025 is his final year as an active WWE competitor, John Cena’s presence in Hollywood continues to grow – with the 17-time world champion taking up a variety of big roles in film and television in recent years such as Peacemaker and the Fast & Furious movie series.
Cena has typically found himself cast in comedy projects or all out action affairs, but during an appearance at the Philadelphia Fan Expo he revealed his desire to appear in a horror movie for the very first time.
When asked whether he would like play a villain who kills, or a civilian who gets killed in a horror movie, Cena responded:
“My answer to that is yes because I’ve never been in a horror film, so I would just want to be in a horror film. If you’re out there and you’re doing it, I’m available.”
While Cena’s horror movie future remains to be seen, we do know that Cena’s next WWE match will be at the Money in the Bank premium live event on June 7, when he teams with Logan Paul to take on Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso in a tag team match.
