The first look at John Cena in the upcoming Barbie movie has been revealed and he’s bringing the Kenergy to the role.
The Greta Gerwig-directed movie had its US debut in Los Angeles recently with a number of WWE stars in attendance.
With Cena having previously revealed how he landed a role in the Margot Robbie-led movie, little was known about what role he would be playing.
It turns out he’s playing a Ken.
And, not just any Ken.
John Cena is a Kenmaid with flowing blond hair and a necklace of shells.
For those wondering, Dua Lipa is mermaid Barbie in the movie.
The Kenmaid has been a feature in the Barbie toyline being included in Mattel’s Dreamtopia range.
Kenneth Carson, to give him his full name, has also been the King of the Ocean in the Mattel Signature Range.
Ryan Gosling also plays Ken in the upcoming movie, with Warner Bros. having recently released a trailer in which Ken sings about the difficult of being… Just Ken (which can be seen below this news story).
