WWE Star Calls Out John Cena Ahead Of PLE In Home Country

A WWE star has called out John Cena ahead of an upcoming international Premium Live Event taking place later in 2025.

It was recently announced that WWE would be returning to Australia for Crown Jewel Perth, taking place on October 11, 2025.

The RAC Arena show will mark the last time that John Cena steps into the WWE ring, with his retirement year well underway.

Speaking to Channel 10 Australia, Grayson Waller has issued a challenge to Cena, offering to bring his retirement date closer, saying:

“This is John Cena’s last appearance in Australia, and that’s a crazy thing.

“John Cena is obviously the GOAT, he’s a legend of this industry, but he has to remember, he’s coming to Australia.

“This is my house, I run this place, if he wants to come here, he’ll have to go through me.

“That retirement tour is supposed to finish in December, maybe it finishes in October because if he comes anywhere near me in my country, I’m putting him out to pasture.”

John Cena is the current Undisputed WWE Champion, having defeated Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41 on April 20, 2025.

The match saw Cena become a seventeen-time world champion, breaking the tie between himself and Ric Flair.

His next opponent will be Randy Orton at WWE Backlash on May 10, after their rivalry was recently reignited.
