John Cena has been a busy man recently, starring on television, and in movies and still fitting in the time to appear in WWE.
As WWE fans await his return to the red brand on March 6 in a move that has seen a spike in ticket sales, comedy fans can also look forward to seeing John Cena on the small screen.
The Roku Channel has shared a trailer for the upcoming Kevin Hart vehicle “Die Hart 2: Die Harter” which features Hart, Cena, Nathalie Emmanuel and Ben Schwartz.
It will be available to stream on The Roku Channel from March 31.
Cena took to Twitter to comment on his involvement in the project, saying:
“Honored to work alongside the global phenomenon @KevinHart4Real and improv and comedy genius @rejectedjokes.
Filming this project was NUTS, can’t wait to watch with everyone!!!”
It is a sequel to “Die Hart” which premiered in 2020 in which Hart tries to become an action star.
“Die Hart” was a ten-part series that was repackaged into “Die Hart The Movie” and came to Prime Video in February 2023.
Every great action star needs a sequel. @kevinhart4real, @missnemmanuel, @JohnCena, @rejectedjokes and Paula Pell star in Die Hart 2: #DieHarter. Stream free on March 31. pic.twitter.com/NezZ4r77uG
