Surprises could be a factor in the John Cena Last Time Is Now Tournament as WWE Raw marks his final appearance in Boston.
With John Cena’s final match set to take place on December 13, the tournament to determine his final ever opponent kicks off on the November 10 edition of WWE Raw in Boston, Massachusetts.
The first four entrants for the tournament have now been revealed, with twelve more names to be added.
Ahead of next week’s WWE Raw, John Cena has previewed what fans can expect from his final appearance in Boston.
Noting that he’s looking forward to seeing some surprises, he tweeted:
“Seeing all the excitement around Monday Night #WWERaw in Boston.
“Can’t wait to see the matchups and surprises 👀 for the Last Time is Now tournament.
“This is a true once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for everyone involved.”
While it was previously hinted that non-WWE names could be involved in the tournament, one ex-WWE star has all but ruled themselves out.
Former WWE Hardcore Champion Maven recently pitched Bron Breakker as the man who should face John Cena in his final match.
After the November 17 episode of WWE Raw, John Cena’s next appearance will be at Survivor Series WarGames before his final match in December.
