John Cena Sends Message To Star After Iron Claw Premiere

John Cena was in attendance at the premiere of Iron Claw and praised Zac Efron for his portrayal of Kevin Von Erich.

The movie goes on general release in the United States on December 22 2023, with the trailer below this news story.

Cena was one of a number of WWE stars at the premiere last night and was photographed with MJF.

MJF also had a photo with Baron Corbin, with it also being revealed that CJ Perry and Liv Morgan were at the premiere.

John Cena posted his thoughts on Efron’s performance, alongside a phot of himself, the star and the real-life Von Erich on Twitter, writing:

“Incredibly proud of @ZacEfron for an outstanding performance in @A24 ’s #TheIronClaw.

“Thank you for doing the work to help introduce a new audience to one of our industry’s most important families.

“See it in theaters Dec. 22nd!!!”

Cena and Efron are starring together in the fantasy comedy movie Ricky Stanicky, with Cena having been seen in a skirt for the role earlier this year.

Kevin Von Erich has previously spoken about Efron’s portrayal and revealed his conversation with the director, Sean Durkin.

Efron’s commitment to the role was also praised by the wrestling coordinator for the movie, Chavo Guerrero.
