‘Pretty Freaking Cool’ WWE Star Addresses Surprise Moment On John Cena Retirement Tour WWE

AJ Styles has commented on his reaction to his in-ring introduction at WWE Crown Jewel, ahead of facing John Cena.

With Styles facing Cena at the October 11 WWE premium live event, a wholesome moment took place before the match, with John Cena handing the ring announcer a piece of paper with a customized ring introduction for the Phenomenal One.

Speaking on the No-Contest Wrestling Podcast,  AJ Styles confirmed that this moment came as a surprise to him.

Noting that he thought this moment was “pretty freaking cool”, he said:

“When I heard ‘The definition of Total Nonstop Action’ I was like, ‘Wait, were they talking about me?’

“When I realised… you could see me look at him, ‘What did you do?’  It was pretty freaking cool, man.

“That was an introduction I had no idea that I was getting, but he found a way to make me feel just as important as he was in that ring.”
