Former 16-time WWE World Champion John Cena delivers a baby on his appearance on The Simpsons’ season 36 premiere.
John Cena has made a seamless transition from the squared circle to Hollywood, starring in several movies and “The Peacemaker” TV series.
Now, Cena has crossed over to the longest running animated series of all-time, The Simpsons.
Appearing on the show’s season 36 premiere, John Cena delivered a baby for Kumiko Nakamura, the wife of Jeff Albertson, also known as Comic Book Guy.
The scene features Cena revealing to the couple and Bart Simpson that he is a fully licensed midwife and in Springfield for the launch party of Otto The Bus Driver’s THC Energy Drink.
Cena tells the baby his signature “You Can’t See Me” catchphrase after handing the child to their mother.
Since The Simpsons’ debut in December 1989, several fictional wrestler characters have appeared on the show such as: Dr. Bonebreak, Shrieking Sheik, Dr Hillbilly and the Iron Yuppie, among others.
However, before Cena’s appearance only Bret “The Hitman” Hart made an official voiced cameo, when he bought Mr. Burns’ Manor in The Old Man and Lisa in season eight of the show.
