WWE Judgment Day Member Leaving Faction Update

The latest update on issues within the Judgment Day played out during tonight’s October 27 episode of WWE Raw in Anaheim.

Last week, Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and JD McDonagh lost the World Tag Team Championship to the team of AJ Styles and Dragon Lee.

In the Judgment Day clubhouse tonight, Balor, McDonagh, Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez were all there as Dominik Mysterio walked in.

Mysterio said he had a problem, as Rusev vs Penta were set for a #1 contender’s match to decide who would challenge him next for the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

Mysterio asked Balor and McDonagh for help, but they rejected on the basis that he didn’t help them in their title defense last week.

Balor and McDonagh said they were going to talk to WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce about getting a title rematch, at which point Mysterio called someone else on his phone, asking them for help since Balor and McDonagh had refused.

Penta vs Rusev then took place, but it was cut short when El Grande Americano, along with Rayo and Bravo, interfered and attacked both men.

Therefore, it appears that Mysterio – not for the first time – turned to Americano for help when Judgment Day left him hanging.

Whether this accelerates a split between Mysterio and the rest of Judgment Day remains to be seen, as these kinds of issues have been going on for months and months at this point, so it isn’t really anything new.

McDonagh and Balor did end up going to see Pearce, but he instead said one of them has to face Sheamus tonight, with McDonagh volunteering.

Later, Pearce found Mysterio and informed him that he’ll have to defend his IC Title at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event against both Penta and Rusev in a three-way.
