Former WWE star Karl Anderson has teased his next move after being released on February 8, 2025, while recovering from injury.
Anderson was one of a number of WWE stars released from their contracts in February 2025 alongside fellow member of The OC, Luke Gallows.
The former member of The OC recently teased a new nickname through a trademark application and now has given another indication of where he could be heading.
The former WWE Raw Tag Team Champion shared a short video to his social media, with the Twitter post below this news story.
In the video attached to the captionless post, Anderson’s New Japan Pro-Wrestling entrance video plays for almost thirty seconds.
A return to NJPW would mark Anderson’s third run in the company where he held multiple championships.
A former IWGP Tag Team Champion, Anderson held the title for three reigns with Doc Gallows (formerly Luke Gallows in WWE) and once with Giant Bernard.
In addition to this, Anderson is a former NEVER Openweight Champion, losing the title to Tama Tonga at Wrestle Kingdom 17 in January 2023 having returned to WWE in October 2022.
Anderson is a former member of Bullet Club having first joined the stable in May 2013 during its inception with Prince Devitt (now Finn Balor), Bad Luck Fale and Tama Tonga.
