A WWE Hall of Famer has expressed their opinion on Triple H in the role of Chief Content Officer and how he fits the executive role.
Speaking on Kliq This (subscription required), Kevin Nash said:
“I know that he loves it, but he also loves the industry. He absolutely loves the industry.
“When was the last time WWE storytelling had anything that could touch the emotion with the Sami Zayn situation?”
Nash would also look at the future under Triple H, adding:
“When he first took over and I just said he’s got a blank canvas, I’m really looking forward to seeing what Paul paints, and he f*cking — I mean, I think it’s a work of art.”
Triple H officially retired from in-ring competition at WrestleMania 38 on April 3 2022.
He was promoted to Chief Content Office in September 2022 having served as Chief Operating Officer from 2011 to 2013.
In 2020, he served as WWE’s Executive Vice President of Global Talent Strategy & Development and would found the WWE NXT brand.
He would be promoted to Executive Vice President of Talent Relations in July 2022 and quickly become Head of WWE Creative shortly thereafter.
