Top WWE Star Confirms Currently Working Through Injury WWE

WWE’s Kevin Owens has admitted that he is currently working through an injury and said how he feels varies by the day.

Kevin Owens was revealed to be suffering from a sprained MCL that he sustained during a WWE house show in a match against Austin Theory.

The injury kept him away from WWE TV for a few weeks, bringing his future booking, specifically his planned spot in the WarGames match, into question.

During the November 18 edition of SmackDown, however, Owens was revealed as the fifth and final member of the Brawling Brutes WarGames team.

Kevin Owens recently appeared on After the Bell with Corey Graves and was asked how he was coping since the injury.

KO said:

“I guess I’m fine, I think. It really changes by the day. You could ask me that question tomorrow and I’m feeling awful but today, I think I’m okay. But I don’t know.

“I’ll get out of my car and my back could be shot and I’m not aware of it until I start walking. The last few months have been interesting in that aspect.

“I wake up fine but by 2 o’clock, my knees don’t work. I don’t know, you know what I mean?

“It really hasn’t started hitting me until recently honestly. I’m like, man, just weird aches and pains will come and go but yeah, at this moment, I’m sitting in my truck, I feel great.

“My back was really bothering me going into it already (match against Jey Uso on Raw) and then I’ve had the knee issues the last few weeks so, yeah, I went in feeling pretty beat up but just worked out really good and I think everybody really enjoyed the match and so did I so, you know, it’s just nice to walk away from it all with people enjoying what you do.”

Kevin Owens faced Jey Uso during the main event of Raw on November 28.

The Bloodline (Roman Reigns, Jimmy & Jey Uso, Solo Sikoa and Sami Zayn) defeated the Brawling Brutes, Drew McIntyre and Kevin Owens at WarGames.

There were reports of a backstage heat between Reigns and Owens after the match. You can read the latest on this story right here.
