A new championship match has been just announced for WWE King & Queen of the Ring tomorrow, Saturday, May 25.
Specifically, the match will take place during the Countdown show that begins an hour prior to the main Premium Live Event.
During today’s SmackDown, Bianca Belair lost in the Queen of the Ring tournament semi-final to Nia Jax.
Later during the show, Belair and Jade Cargill, the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, were confronted backstage by the team of Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell.
It was then confirmed towards the end of SmackDown that Belair and Cargill will defend their championship against LeRae and Hartwell tomorrow.
The Countdown show is listed as being hosted by Michael Cole, Corey Graves, Wade Barrett, Kayla Braxton and Big E.
Other championship matches included on the main card are Becky Lynch vs Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Title, and Sami Zayn vs Chad Gable vs Bronson Reed for the Intercontinental Title.
And of course the main event of Cody Rhodes vs Logan Paul for Rhodes’ Undisputed WWE Championship.
