WWE Star Tells Kofi Kingston To ‘Grow A Set Of Balls’

The New Day’s Kofi Kingston has come under fire from Joaquin Wilde following comments he made about LWO leader Rey Mysterio.

Reflecting on the February 17, 2025, episode of WWE Raw in which Kingston pointed out he had won more championships in WWE than Mysterio – and has been with the company longer without interruption –  the New Day member would go into more detail.

What Kingston said on WWE Raw and the ensuing chaos can be seen below this news story, along with his new statement on Twitter following recent criticisms.

“This past Monday on Raw, I told you how I’ve been with the company longer than Rey Mysterio.

“Now, a lot of y’all on social media, these keyboard commandos and smart fans out there, were outraged. You called me a liar. You said ‘Well, Rey’s been with the company since 2002, you think we can’t just go on and look on the internet…’

“Because you went on to Google and you did a search, using Wikipedia as your reference, that makes you like a legitimate fact checker. You all think you know everything, right? You think you did some research, right?

“But, the reality is that you’re too lazy to dig in and do the actual work, to do the research, so I did it for you.”

Kingston would then present the fact that Rey Mysterio debuted in WWE on July 24, 2002 and was an active roster member until the Raw after WrestleMania 30 (2014) when a beating from Bad News Barrett saw him be away from the company until January 28, 2018 as an active roster member to this day.

The New Day member would then say he signed his WWE contract on August 30, 2006 and hasn’t stopped since, and still has a lot of gas left in his tank.

He then react to the fans probably using lazy math to calculate time before pointing out that Mysterio has had 682 televised match with WWE while Kingston has 886, meaning he has spent more time in a WWE ring.

With this distinction over the phrase “being here”, a response would come from Joaquin Wilde, which can also be seen below.

Wilde wasn’t happy with having to sit through the almost four-minute second explanation from Kingston as he went on to say:

“Man, I can’t believe I wasted three minutes and forty six seconds of my life listening to Kofi Kingston run his mouth all while rocking the same facial hair as The Undertaker from the Corporate Ministry era.

“You sure do have a lot to say about Rey Mysterio, but at no point in that incoherent rant did you ever acknowledge me, Dragon Lee or Cruz Del Toro, a.k.a the three guys that whupped y’all asses and smashed y’all faces worse than Xavier Woods smashed my damn hat.

“You want to talk about facts, Kofi? Here’s a fact for you: when you mess with Rey Mysterio, you miss with the entire LWO and we gave y’all a taste of that on Monday and this is just getting started. This is far from over between us.

“Hey, why don’t you do yourself a favour? Grow your mustache back, and while you’re at it, grow a set of balls, too.”
