WWE Hall Of Famer To Undergo Surgery For Nerve & Back Issues WWE

A WWE Hall of Famer and multi-time WWE Champion is set to undergo surgery to deal with back and nerve issues.

Speaking on The Kurt Angle Show, the Olympic gold medalist revealed that:

“They’re not going to do any fusion or anything like that, thank God.

“They’re going to clean it out. They’re going to clean all the arthritis out because I have a nerve going down my leg and it’s bothering me. There’s pain in my lower back.”

Angle would go on to reveal more about the surgical procedure and the hopes for the end result, saying:

“So, they’re going to clean all that stuff out, take the bone chips out, the calcium and stuff like that. He said I should be good to go after that.

“He said it might not relieve all the lower back pain, but you’re not going to feel the pain running down your leg.”

Angle recently revealed that he will be at WrestleMania 39 over the April weekend and would “do some stuff for WWE”, as well as watch a day of the show whilst fitting in his WrestleCon appearances.

His final match also took place at WrestleMania 35 in 2019 where he would lose to Baron Corbin.

WrestleTalk wishes Kurt Angle all the best for his surgical procedure and subsequent recovery.
