WWE Hall Of Famer Says The Rock Could Wrestle A 30-Minute WrestleMania Match WWE

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle believes that if The Rock trained for it, he could wrestle a good 30-minute match at WrestleMania.

It was reported in 2022 that WWE had plans to have The Rock face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39, if the Hollywood star’s schedule would allow for it.

The Rock ultimately didn’t wrestle on the show, with reports indicating that the Great One didn’t feel he’d be able to get into ring shape before the event.

Roman Reigns ultimately defended his WWE Undisputed Universal Championship against Cody Rhodes on WrestleMania 39 Sunday.

Speaking on his Kurt Angle Show podcast, Angle argued that The Rock could wrestle a long match if he trained for it, as he has looked after his body:

“He really trains hard, and he has been able to keep his body young and active.

“When you watch him train, he does a lot of not just weight training and stuff, he does a lot of plyometrics and stuff like that.

“I believe that he could still wrestle. I believe if he wants to do it, he could put in a good 30-minute match at WrestleMania.

“I don’t doubt that for a second. He’s able to take care of his body as much as he has lately. I don’t see it being a problem for him.”

An update recently emerged on a major match that’s ‘on the table’ for WrestleMania 40, which you can read about right here.
