A WWE legend says he doesn’t ever want GUNTHER to chop him.
Despite debuting in April 2022, GUNTHER has quickly become one of the top stars in WWE. He is the current, record-breaking Intercontinental Champion, having recently broke the longest reign for the title.
One former I.C. Champion who doesn’t want any smoke with “The Ring General” is D-Lo Brown.
In a new interview with MuscleManMalcolm, Brown was asked on his thoughts on the current Intercontinental Champion. Making it clear he has no intention in being chopped by GUNTHER, D-Lo said:
“I don’t ever want him to chop me. I don’t want none of that smoke,”
Expressing his gratitude to be included in the lineage of the Intercontinental Championship, Brown stated:
“I’m just happy to be in that same category. If you go down the list of great Intercontinental Champions from The Honky Tonk Man and Pat Patterson to The Rock, Triple H, Stone Cold, Eddie Guerrero, I’m on that list. So, what more could you ask for?”
D-Lo Brown currently works behind the scenes for IMPACT Wrestling.
Meanwhile, GUNTHER last wrestled in a six-man tag team loss with Imperium’s Ludvig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci to Tommaso Ciampa and Alpha Academy on the September 11 episode of WWE Raw.
As previously reported, GUNTHER gave a brutal response to making Chad Gable’s daughter cry after defeating him on Raw.
