A WWE legend has praised former Women’s World Champion IYO SKY as the “greatest women’s wrestler” right now.

Former WWF Women’s Champion Leilani Kai, who was part of the first ever WrestleMania, has become a member of the WWE family this past year, attending shows like Saturday Night’s Main Event and NXT live events as a guest.

Kai has praised many current stars of the women’s division, but has chosen IYO SKY as the best wrestler at the moment.

Appearing on Busted Open, Kai had praise for SKY, Blake Monroe and Chelsea Green, saying:

“I like Blake Monroe. She has a good personality, she’s doing real well with what she does and her little gimmick she’s doing. I think she’s the real thing though.

“There’s IYO SKY – I think she’s the greatest lady wrestler at the moment. They’re all good, but she’s ahead. I just watch and I think she’s probably the best wrestler at the moment.

“Then there’s Chelsea Green. She’s a different personality. She can work but she’s a good entertainer verbally. She makes me laugh. She’s very funny.”

SKY is part of the lineup for the upcoming women’s Survivor Series WarGames match alongside Rhea Ripley, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair as they face the Kabuki Warriors, Lash Legend and Nia Jax.

Both teams have one member left to add, with AJ Lee and Becky Lynch seemingly expected to fill those slots.
