WWE Legend Reacts To NXT Star Using Their Finisher

The match may not have ended with a victory for Ethan Page, but a moment on last night’s WWE NXT has seen him endorsed by Matt Hardy.

The December 10 episode of WWE NXT saw Page taking on Tony D’Angelo in an attempt to become North American Champion.

Highlights from the match can be seen below this news story, with Page on the losing end of the encounter.

One moment in particular caught the attention of former WWE star Matt Hardy with Page hitting a Twist of Fate on D’Angelo, as can be seen below courtesy of WrestlingCovers on Twitter.

Hardy would re-post the video on his own account, along with a message that read:

“I endorsed this. I endorse @OfficialEGO! #WWENXT”

Page and Hardy were both teammates and allies in 2022-2023 during their shared time in AEW, before each departing the company at separate times earlier this year.

Matt & Jeff Hardy recently signed new contracts with TNA Wrestling having previously worked a “handshake deal” with the company.

Matt Hardy has commented on the current management team within TNA Wrestling, comparing it favorably to those in charge during his past runs.
