WWE Legend Praises GUNTHER

A WWE legend has gone out of his way to issue high praise for current star GUNTHER as a ‘combo’ of modern and throwback styles.

Lex Luger said on his Lex Expressed podcast for May, that he was actually quite a big fan of GUNTHER.

Luger said of the Ring General:

“I love his work. I love the way — just the tights and the boots. He doesn’t even wear his knee pads, like old school. he’s sort of a combo of [a] throwback and [he] can do the modern-day stuff as well. You’ve got a nice blend, he has a great look.

“His interviews have gotten better and better. I like Gunther a lot. He’s got the height and the size and just that look he has. I like Gunther a lot.”

While GUNTHER may have lost his Intercontinental Championship to Sami Zayn at WrestleMania 40, he remains in the running for another big WWE prize.

GUNTHER has advanced to the semi-finals of the King of the Ring tournament where he will face off against Jey Uso on the Monday May 20 edition of Raw.

The 2024 WWE King and Queen of the Ring will be determined via the Raw vs. SmackDown bracket finals for both the Men and Women at the premium live event of the same name.
