A WWE legend has pushed for a future Hall of Fame induction via a new post on social media.
With 2024 drawing to a close, soon WWE’s attention will turn towards the road to WrestleMania.
While the Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber and, of course, WrestleMania will be the focus of many fans, one other anticipated event of WrestleMania weekend is the Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
Ahead of next year’s ceremony one legend has now thrown his own name into the conversation, that being former WWE and WCW star Rick Martel.
In response to a post from 80’s wrestling on Twitter, which asked whether Martel should get the nod for the Hall of Fame, ‘The Model’ wrote:
Of course and Without arrogance!
The Model was a notable star for WWE throughout the 80s and early 90s, winning the WWE Tag Team Championships on three occasions – twice with Tony Garea and once with Tito Santana across an 11-year stint in the company.
We will provide further updates on WWE’s plans for the 2025 Hall of Fame as/when they become available.
