WWE Legend Returns To Challenge Drew McIntyre At The Royal Rumble

Drew McIntyre had just finished an incredible main event with Keith Lee. He beat Lee after hitting him with a Claymore and the two were about to exchange pleasantries after a hard-fought battle.

Unfortunately, the feel-good moment was quickly shot down. The famous music of Bill Goldberg hit and there came the WWE legend to answer the question of who’s next.

Goldberg hit the ring and tore into Drew McIntyre. He said that Drew has no respect for the legends. He says Drew thinks he’s better than all of them and just sees them as old, washed-up has-beens.

Drew responds with a big insult. He says fighting Goldberg would be like fighting his dad. I think he meant it as a respectful comment in the manner they are both badasses and Drew is like a younger version of Goldberg.

Instead, it just came off as he was calling him old. Goldberg challenged Drew for the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble. Goldberg shoved Drew to the ground as the show went off the air abruptly.
