WWE Legend Says Trick Williams Makes Him ‘Want To Wrestle Again’ WWE

A WWE Hall of Famer has heaped praise on SmackDown star Trick Williams, saying the 31-year-old makes him want to lace up his boots again.

It has almost been eight full years since we last saw Mark Henry compete inside a wrestling ring, with his final match being the 50-man Greatest Royal Rumble Match on April 27, 2018.

While Henry has enjoyed several non-physical roles in wrestling since, the “World’s Strongest Man” has admitted that watching SmackDown’s hottest new star Trick Williams makes him want to come out of retirement.

Speaking with Jonathan Coachman on Busted Open, Henry spoke highly of Trick and his attributes:

“It’s been a long time since I felt like coming back to wrestling. This dude walking to the ring gets me fired up he makes me want to wrestle again. That’s the effect that Trick had on me.

“It’s the energy and the smugness, the dude’s got it. He talks the talk, he walks the walk, he’s got the look.”

Jonathan Coachman would then compare Williams to an early version of all-time WWE great The Rock, to which Henry agreed.

Despite only signing with SmackDown at the beginning of the year, Trick Williams already has the chance to become the number one contender to Drew McIntyre’s Undisputed WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble on January 31.

Williams, Sami Zayn, Randy Orton and Damian Priest will compete against each other in a number one contenders match for McIntyre’s title at tonight’s Saturday Night’s Main Event in Montreal, QC.
