A match was brought to an abrupt end with a WWE star seemingly being disoriented after a move went awry, later confirming they “blacked out”.
Season 2 of WWE LFG is underway, with the August 10 episode seeing Sirena Linton facing off against Bayley Humphrey.
Linton represents Team Booker, while Humphrey is being coached by The Undertaker in the A&E series.
During their match, Humphrey slammed Linton into the mat, with the result being a seemingly disoriented WWE star.
The official threw up the X, indicating an in-ring need for medical assistance, with the lights being brought up so that Linton could be better attended to.
Afterwards, Linton would be helped backstage by Booker T and her opponent, receiving a round of applause from those watching.
Linton would later confirm that she had blacked out, going on to state:
“I blacked out and didn’t know where I was during the match.”
While the show would continue, Linton was absent for the rest of the episode, but would later share a tweet in the form of an emoji, posting:
“😔🌶️ #WWELFG”
She would also repost a tweet capturing the reaction from both The Undertaker and Booker T to the in-ring incident, as can be seen here.
WrestleTalk will provide further details of Serina Linton’s status as they emerge and wish her well in her recovery.
