WWE Likely Not Scrapping Two Planned TLC Matches

WWE Likely Not Scrapping Two Planned TLC Matches

The TLC pay-per-view, WWE’s final special event of the year, is set to take place in just over one week’s time. Despite this, WWE has still yet to announce any matches for the show.

This is reportedly because Vince McMahon feels that announcing matches on the day before/day of the show will make people more likely to subscribe to the WWE Network to watch.

One of the rumoured matches for the show was Aleister Black vs. Buddy Murphy following a series of angles that have played out on Raw. Another was a Raw Tag Team Championship clash between The O.C. and The Viking Raiders.

Dave Meltzer is reporting in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter that both matches, will likely be going ahead:

“Two other matches are right now on the books and unlikely to be changed, which are Aleister Black vs. Buddy Murphy and Viking Raiders defending the Raw tag team titles against Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson.”

While The O.C. vs. The Viking Raiders doesn’t really excite me, I am really looking forward to seeing Aleister Black vs. Buddy Murphy on the show. Let’s just hope WWE gives the talented workers some time to show what they can do.
