Liv Morgan lost the WWE Women’s World Championship to Rhea Ripley on January 6 and plans for her post-title future have now emerged.
On the January 6 episode of WWE Raw, Ripley reclaimed the Women’s World Championship, as can be seen below this news story.
Morgan hasn’t wrestled much since losing the Women’s World Title, only returning on the January 24 episode of SmackDown, teaming with Candice LeRae and Nia Jax to defeat Ripley, Naomi & Bianca Belair.
It now looks like teamwork could be very much in Morgan’s future as WWE heads towards WrestleMania 41 on April 19 & 20, 2025.
Per PWInsider Elite (via Cultaholic), there has been ‘a lot of talk’ about giving Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez a ‘big push’ as a tag-team on the road to WrestleMania 41.
The current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions are the aforementioned Belair and Naomi, the latter of whom replaced an injured Jade Cargill as champion on the December 20, 2024 episode of SmackDown.
Cargill was recently at the WWE Performance Center, indicating that a return could be imminent for the former AEW star.
