The reaction of the WWE locker room to main roster shows airing live from the ThunderDome at the Amway Center has been revealed.
Throughout the pandemic period over the last few months, WWE has held its shows at its Performance Center in Orlando, with a taping schedule that seemed to change more times than most people’s underwear.
Fightful Select has offered some insight into how those in WWE feel about this change, and the response is said to be unanimously positive.
This is likely due to the shows being aired live meaning that taping days aren’t going to be as long. There have been times when talent has been at tapings all day and sometimes they’ve even gone into the early hours of the following morning – this obviously won’t happen with the shows being live.
When there was speculation months ago that WWE wanted to go live again, the response from talent was mostly negative due to safety concerns, but that seems to have changed with WWE now implementing actual COVID-19 tests which didn’t happen for a while at first.
It’s also noted that everyone Fightful spoke to actually found out about the news online and hadn’t received official word from the company. The first live show from the ThunderDome will be this Friday’s SmackDown.
